Speaking of Kurt Russell and Bruce campbell in another thread...

But lordie this looks awful.

See what one hit Pixar movie does -- it causes disney to destroy the world attempting to duplicate it!

As long as Kurt Russell is back doing Disney movies, how about another go around with the Dexter Riley series...dust off Michael McGreevey to come back as Schuyler and have the two of them help their kids save their college from an indestructible two headed monster in a business suit created in the science lab by a genius chimp (CGI rendered using the movements and expressions of bruce campbell) and his maniacal assistant (Steve Buscemi) using the stolen DNA of Cesar Romero and Joe Flynn.

Forget Herbie, THAT would be inspiring cinema! I'd pay to see it 4 times before buying the DVD.

Refried will probably hate it

It don't look good. I was saying on another board I can't decide if it looks like a lame live-action ripoff of The Incredibles or a lame superhero ripoff of Harry Potter.

But it don't look good.

yeah and isn't there a movie coming out next year called "Zoom" about a out of shape superhero hired to train kids to be the new superheroes? fox and marvel are suing over it.

Then you have Super Ex. with Uma directed by Reitman.

The idea is fine just the execution looks like crap.

Even with Lynda Carter as the Principle...

Sky High looks like tremendous fun. Young boys will flock to the theaters, dragging their families with them. Another winner for Disney!

Kurt's obviously doing one for his kids. It's sweet.

No matter if it's sweet or not, it'll suck a$$. Sorry, I think they need to lay off the whole superhero movies for a bit. Too much at once isn't the best way to approach this. When I first heard about this movie, I misunderstood it thinking it was the story about a normal boy living with his superhero family. This misunderstanding recalled a Disney movie a few years back called "Up, Up, and Away" I believe Meteorman starred in it. Meteorman...man, that was a good superhero movie...espescially with Cypress Hill as a gang and the Cosby.
