I wrote a scene where a character is listening to a self-help tape in his house.
How would I write it?
ex:
Greg Carlisle's voice booms from the speakers.
Greg
You have infinite potential.
would I add a parenthetical to his name? He 'has' several lines in the scene and a couple recurring secenes later.
Thanks for the help.

Let's see here...
Jarrod pops in an cassette and punches play. Greg Carlisles' voice booms from the speakers. Jarrod jumps and cranks the volume down a notch.
GREG (from speakers)

Or sumthin' like that...

After 28 views and only one response I guess your still waiting for some additional responses?
Your own formatting illustration is great, just remember to indicate (V.O.) next to Gregg's dialogue that is emanating over the speakers!
That's all I have... good luck!:smokin

GREG (ON TAPE)
GREG (TAPE PLAYER)
GREG (STEREO)
GREG (TAPE DECK)
GREG (RECORDED)
GREG'S VOICE

Yeah, that helps me too actually.
Granted the only (V.O.) is very brief in mine, that is something I was not aware of.
Thanks.
