If several people say something at once, is it OK to use "ALL" or some other indication? What's the best way to do that? Example:

Abe, Bob, Carol and Don wait in the dark for Edgar to get home for his birthday surprise part. Edgar opens the door and turns on the light.

ALL
Surprise!

EDGAR
What a surprise!

Obviously, Edgar isn't shouting surprise at his own surprise party.

Or, if Don decides to not shout.

ABE and BOB and CAROL
Surprise!

If there are only a few people, then you can use:

BOB/ANGELA/CHLOE
Surprise!

If everyone in the scene is saying the same thing, then ALL works fine. The most important thing is that you get the point across.
