LOVE the movie!!!!
Fun, funny stuff.
The dead pan, just gets me everytime.
Watch it every couple of months.
Have a set of the shades.
Man, those things are DARK.
It's finally coming out on DVD? Great, our VHS copy is almost worn out.

The news of the DVD is exciting.
The news of the "Big Screen Concerts" event, not so much. I'd be too afraid Dan Aykroyd might get up and sing.

Awesome. One of the best movies, ever. And an even better soundtrack, too.

I just re-watched this movie the other day with a friend who'd never seen it. I remembered it being a fast paced comedy.
But, wow, was it slow. I thoughtit was because I knew all the jokes by heart and was having trouble waiting for them. But, my friend, after the movie was over, mentioned that it seemed really slow to him.
I guess it was a product of its time.
But still a lot of good scenes and jokes.

It is slow. That's part of the humor. It's deadpan beyond belief. They're being funny doing nothing. Like a prehistoric Seinfeld.

"We're on a mission from God."
Great line.
What I don't get is do you go to the movies to watch the live via satellite thingy with Akroyd and Landis, and then you watch the movie or do you get the DVD?
I already own the regular DVD...do I need the 25th Anniversary? Probably.
