Okay, I've really gone & done it this time. Short scene, just a wee bit of dialogue, I want the prep to jump and the shot of the free-fall to be one scene, not two. So, slugline is
INT./EXT SMALL PLANE - DAY
Is this okay? Also, anyone know of any parachuting scenes I could read? The only things that are coming to mind for me are that parachuting Elvis/nic cage thing, what was it called, "something-Las Vegas"? Or maybe Platoon, Apoc Now? Got anything?
Thanks in advance.

why does it have to be one slug?
If it MUST be one slug, don't use INT/EXT. Make it one or the other.
INT. PLANE - DAY
Character jumps out.
EXT. SKY - DAY
Character falls. Opens parachute.
EXT. FIELD - DAY
Character lands.

You could try POINT BREAK or TERMINAL VELOCITY.
Me, I'd use a minislug or similar,
FALLING THROUGH THE AIR
Mike waves his arms and legs around and screams like a woman as the ground rushes up.

Wendy, according to "Teach Yourself Screenwriting" by Ray Frensham, .INT/EXT is fine.

A car parachuting out of a plane? Is it in the car outside of the plane, or outside the car in the plane, or in the car in the plane, or outside the car outside the plane? ;)

Just a thought... the plane interior scenes will likely be shot on a sound stage on the ground, while the aerial shots are likely to be shot using a completely different camera mounted on a skydiver's helmet or aboard a second aircraft. Separating the two events for clarity's sake seems like a good idea -- but if the book contains specific guidelines for plane/skydiving scenes that say otherwise, I bow to professional knowledge.

The film, if shot, would be "run & gun", over 4 days, and a max of 3 locations are allowed. So the plane sequence would be shot in an actual plane as one continual shot. There are no specific restrictions regarding cost, so hopefully, it'll fly. (No pun intended.)
If anyone's willing to critique it for me, it's only 7 pp and I've posted it on the DD Script Pages board under "Bon Vivant". As always, your sage advice is appreciated.
