Hi all,
I just recently started using Final Draft software for my writing efforts and I need to do a scene in Spanish w/ Englis subtitles. Does anyone know how to do this without buyer extra software upgrades?
Thanks,

.............DEUS
.....(in Spanish; subtitled)
No need to buy any add-ons.
Just write it out like this.
Or another way is to go with establishing the scene or characters speak a certain language and that it will be subtitled as needed as was done with Dances with Wolves.
EXT. PRAIRIE - DAY
We can see the whole Indian party now: the four men and their ponies, two injured men on travois and two extra ponies.
(PLEASE NOTE: ALL INDIAN DIALOGUE WILL BE NATIVE DIALECT AS INDICATED BY TRIBE. SUBTITLES WILL BE USED)
.................THE TOUGHEST
...Only a white man would make a fire
...for everyone to see.

Thanks Deus,
But I have in the past have used the double column format to indicate the dialog in both the original foreign language and them subtitles next to each other. I guess I could try to set up tabs but I haven't tried it yet. Any suggestions. Thanks!
