every one of James Ursini & Alain Silver's works is a gemstone. Money well spent on each of these books(I haven't read the David Lean & Robert Aldrich ones yet), and I'm sure you all can get something positive out of each of these.
they're the best out there covering Film Noir and Alain & James systematically examine every topic they encounter, and maintain a purely educational demeanor in voicing their opinions.
