has anyone read this book?
i just picked it up last night - i'm looking to know if anyone has read it and thought it was useful

Flipped through it today -- preliminary take is that it's mostly vague stuff, basic screenwriting know-how.

To top it off, nearly half the book is devoted to a feature-length script the author wrote. Apparently a vain attempt to get his script some attention via an ostensible teaching tool.

I didn't really like it. I'll stick with the others I've read. It annoyed me that half was the book was his script.
