Dax Sheppard?!

Has anyone noticed that Dax Sheppard -- yes, the actor from "Punk'd" -- has multiple, high-paying script sales? I saw the pitch he sold with Will Arnett (Gob Bluth from "Arrested Devlopment"), and was intrigued. Upon looking him up, I found that he had at least 3 sales, and they were all mid-six or above.

So who thinks Dax's movies are gonna be good? Any thoughts on this weirdness?

Well, he has some killer connections and is definitely an "insider".
That gives him a monumental step over us.

His film, Without a Paddle, with Seth Green and ? (don't remember) actually had some funny moments.

For example, when the grizzly bear attacks Seth Green and Dax shouts, "Go into the fetal position!"

Then the bear picks him up and starts taking off with him and they shout.."Abort the fetal position!"

Pretty funny.
I also have noticed he's been on script sales a few times. My guess is he gets his buddies to agree to star either with him or without him and that makes the pitch much more desirable. Shoot, if I had Ashton Kutcher and Seth Green and all those other goofballs as my friends, I'm sure we'd be helping each other out all the time.

Funny? Who knows. But my man is definitely getting PAID!!!!!!

That's interesting, Santinio. I wasn't aware that he wrote Without a Paddle. I'll have to check it out. And yeah, I'm sure you're right about his connections getting him hooked him up. But still, it's pretty bizarre, if you've ever seen "Punk'd."
