They require all scripts be submitted through an agent or manager aligned with the WGA. No exceptions.

How exactly does a manager become "aligned" with the WGA? As a sig producer?

Yeah, I phone pitched them. Was told I could request via a lawyer. They then sent a letter to my lawyer saying that they would only accept the script via a WGA sig. What the f#*k?

A rare case, though. Jack Black's prod. co. was the same. WGA agent only. The rest, which was a big list, I submitted via email, (with our without a release) or via the lawyer.

Yup, it's true. They will only accept a script through a WGA Agent. I phone pitched them, too, KC and they liked the concept, but my WGA agent had to submit it or they wouldn't have accepted it.

They love the Edward Scissorhands type of script. I'll let you know what happens when they get around to reading it.

Honestly, I don't remember who I spoke to. The minute I get off the phone and the script goes out, I push everyone out of my mind (you know me, lol) I probably have been *dumped* by people I don't even remember more times than I'd like to admit.

I always have this feeling that if they want me, they'll know where to find me and *actually* they do (if and when)
