Ive looked at the site, and it hasnt been updated for a while. I phoned up a company that sells back issues, they said they stopped printing some copies of the mag.

Is CS over? Defunct? Nada?

Say it ain't so!

No worries, EJ, Creative Screenwriting is alive and kicking.

As resident DD lurker, as well as CS interviewer, I took the liberty of forwarding your concern to my editor, Erik Bauer, who's currently taking a few days R&R in a sane place (read: outside LA) -- his first since our killer Screenwriting Expo in November. His response:

"Creative Screenwriting's web site is currently undergoing renovations.

CS has never been stronger or better.

Check out our new "Best of 2002" issue at Barnes and Noble and Borders bookstores, or call (323) 957-1405 to subscribe.

Best,

Erik Bauer"

Those editors, always on the make for subscribers.

Hope this puts your mind at ease, and thanks for checking on us.

And Jake, thanks for subscribing.

Feel free to open a new thread if you have any questions, or just shoot me an e-mail (argentspen@aol.com). But let's close out this thread, so nobody gets the wrong idea, 'kay? :hat

Thanks,

Don, er, Dan is right. CS is in the midst of an expansion of sorts with the success of Expo, the script and pitch competitions, as well as the New Visions Fellowship for Filmmakers. Meanwhile, a lot of back issues got scarfed up at the Expo. Any other lapses are the result of growing pains. I recommend free samples of Viagra for the editorial staff starting with Din, er Dan.
