Contract Question

Hey All

I'm working with a writer...trying getting him pitch meetings and such off my connections (I'm not necessarily and agent, and don't care to manage.)

But I believe in the project thats why I'm taking it on...

Agent, Producer, Manager, or project?

What sort of agreement should I have with him... He's a friend
Hand shakes are passe I hear...

Any suggestions?

If you believe in the projects, etc...make sure you receive some type of credit...and/or percentage. He might be writing the scripts...but, you're knocking down the doors...putting your rep on the line. This is a business...not a charity.

I wouldn't use my personal contacts unless I was being rewarded in some manner (see above).
