i have just been awarded 9,400 bananas to make a short film on video in tokyo!
(to the people who told me to get a job when i asked about possible grants and funding...up yours!)

don't have much feeling for the shortfilm genre
and would like to watch some streaming on the net.

i know of www.undergroundfilms.com

Congratulations on your deal.

Sign up for Triggerstreet.com. You can see our first one there (The Mixed Marriage) and many others. You can also read many reviews of the shorts to see what kinds of things viewers look for.

Our next one is on the way, and after what we heard last time, we hope to make it less broad, more thought-provoking, with more movement, and improved production values.

Also, a company called Quickbend has put out a series of DVDs called "Short." They're each a collection of short films based around a theme. I found them at Fry's, but if there aren't Fry's stores around you, I'm sure you can find them online somewhere.
