MJ Spellman and/or NuVision Films?

MJ contacted me recently as well, and I'd like to know more about him as well.

What's his full name again? Mark Jacob Spellman? The few emails I traded with he called himself MJ, as well as when I spoke to him on the phone, although the firsttime he called he said his name.

The only thing I've been able to find about Nu-Vision (or NuVision) Films is that they've done a few indie films, as well as some foreign films and a few Sci-Fi Channel ones. Not sure if they are all the same company though.

Anyway, my initial contact was about an adapted script.

He also has contacted me and has made me an offer on one of my scripts. I'm currently doing a rewrite for him and will then, hopefully, set up the deal.

From what I gather, they are a small production company who are trying to expand their market.

knightmare6, the script I wrote is along the same line as yours, although a different character. This may be why they contacted us.

Alright. I'll let you know how everything goes from this point on. I should be finishing my rewrite and turning it over to MJ in a week (hopefully). I'll let you guys know what becomes of it.

Yeah, same here. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to suck it up and ask him again, lol. Or I can be slick, maybe see if I can get some paperwork mailed to me and hope it'll have his full name on it. :D

Just my update, don't know about everyone else who's been dealing with them, but they never contacted me back after they said they were going to call.

Luckily I've been busy at work and in my free-time. Still working on finishing up two scripts.

Anyone else still in contact with them? Anyone else figure out what MJ stood for?
