I know I sound like someone's mother (I am!), but I'm from Illinois originally - so dress warm and watch out for those late winter snow storms! It was my antipathy to winter weather that finally got me to move to CA two years ago. Have a good time - hope you sell a script!

:lol Thank you! the weather was MISERABLE! little hard pelting bullets of snow and ice. We had a great time! My friend had a 5 min. short in the festival and it was really fun watching all the different projects. I got to do a little networking (very very little) - I mean when you tell some people they have to move to Minneapolis to continue their filmmaking career, you know there's a problem. :rollin - I think LA is like living on another planet compared to Fargo, ND.

I did find out one thing though - the police don't look or talk anthing like Margie in the movie :\ (don't ask)

LMAO - okay you got me! I guess I'm just bitter that we had to walk the 1.5 blocks from the hotel to the movie theater. I just have a feeling that the weather doesn't change much no matter what time of the year.:|
