Anyone know how this works? e.g., the deadline to enter is 5/1/04, and they contact you by/around _____?

Have any DDers ever advanced in the selection process in years past?

i have not but, from reading the fine print - they say something like 75% of the Filmmakers Lab winners have already gone through their Screenwriter's Lab.

the selection process must be extensive since the submission date is 9 months prior to the labs.
