Anyone get a call yet?
And, uh, if one does get a call, where does one go from there? What happens?

I got a lovely rejection letter for the Drama workshop today, the good news is they invited me to a free lecture on how to improve my writing. Haha.
I'm still waiting on news from the Comedy Workshop.

Kosmik: Are you going to the Workshop? Did you get invited to how to improve your writing or how to market your script? I'm trying to decide whether to go. Thanks

as per the wb writer workshop website...the news on the comedy workshop won't be released until the end of january '04. drama was to be notified as of this week, thus the rejection letters and so forth. that's what i know.

FYI, a friend of mine entered for Drama and got the call earlier this week (Wednesday, I think) for an interview next week. The program interviews roughly 40 people for 12 spots (both drama and comedy combined).
If anyone's interested, my friend submitted a Gilmore Girls script.
And for what it's worth -- I'd recommend going to any workshop they offer you. I attended a session given by the folks who run the program, and it was hugely informative. And thinking ahead -- if you apply next year and get to the interview stage, they will note that you took a "loss" as a chance to learn more and improve your writing. Or not.
Best wishes to all,
T. Ziegler
