Hey there,

I'm just out of college and relatively new at the game. I do have several feature screenplays I am proud of, one of which was requested by several agents and managers during late October and early November.

Well, I sent copies both via Email and Snail Mail on November 15th and have yet to hear from anybody. During my searching of the forums it seems like it is SOP to contact people after a certain amount of time. First of all, is this in fact the case? And if so, how long should I wait: a month, six weeks, two months? Any advice would be very helpful.

Thanks,

E--

Well, it's cool you got so much attention, first.

Second, I guess standard time is about 4 weeks, before you shoot them a friendly "checking in" email, or make a phone call to follow up.

It might take 6 weeks, or longer, depending on who you sent it to.

Thanks for the info, noh.

I'm coming up on a month pretty soon, so I'll fire off those "checking in" Emails then.
