When does Disney notify?

i do believe that they start notifying in late december/early january. i haven't found the exact date yet, though.

I thought the fellowship *began* in January and that therefore notifications would begin shortly? Cuz, I'm like, totally holding my breath and everything. ;)

Disney notified the semifinalists (about 40) around Thanksgiving week last year. I know because I was visiting my parents for the holidays when I missed the call at my home, prompting me to never visit my parents again.
It moves very quickly after that. The semis are phone interviews, out of which they'll pick the finalists to go to LA. Last year there were 11 scripts (12 writers, one was a team) that made it for 5 openings. The final interviews were in mid-December, and we found out the results the Monday of the next week. I believe the fellowship starts officially at the end of January.
