Hi all
Anyone got any suggestions on who might be interested in a studio budget family holiday movie?
My own (very meagre) reputation and list of contacts is borne of indie drama type work. The few reads I've had thus far are coming back with "fun but not for me" responses. It's possible it's crap and they are just being nice but I honestly don't think so.
Any ideas greatly appreciated
TIA:)

You could do a lot worse than getting analysis from Mike Cheda for something like this but it costs a few hundred $$.
Your situation is also a good example of where individual research can pay off. A copy of HCD is much less than paid SP analysis - less than $100 (I think around $70 at the moment). If you check through the trades and cross-reference with your copy of HCD, then you'll have a good sense of where to look.

Thanks Mandrake.
Have you used Mike Cheda yourself? How was your experience with his feedback and development support?
I must admit I'm pretty happy with the script itself, my own internal critic is pretty developed and it's finally passed that muster.
I have done some research myself but seem to find production companies and producers who do the odd holiday movie here or there rather than finding someone to whom this stuff is "stock in trade". I hoped someone else might have some insider knowldege of such a person off the top of their head... :)

Thanks phatgirl
I'll keep that one in my back pocket for now, I guess ABC family is another good idea TV wise ... my concern is that the movie is too big for TV ... lots of big expensive set pieces etc.
