Probably not. I believe she's going to fulfil her remaining commitments to Edmonds Ent. (TV, etc.) and then focus solely on OurStories thereafter. They're partnered with The Weinstein Co. so finding some inside info on them might be a better route. But as always, I could be wrong. Good luck.

Anybody querying this company should try and get in touch with Jeff, one of the execs there. I spoke to him once and he is without a doubt one of the nicest and most down-to-earth execs I've ever spoken to.

Yes, they are out of moolah. I had a project in development with them and it stalled out for that reason. And, yes, Jeff is a very good guy.

I heard a rundown of their production schedule last week. Definitely not broke. Everyone who has posted on this thread so far has either 1) lying (abiqua) 2) or FULL of it (Charisma).

Jeff is a great guy, I had lunch with him last week, and they are still actively searching for projects. Just in the $8 - $10 million range, not the $50 million range. Which has always been their mandate.

"In development" does not mean that an exec read your script, liked it, and knew the company could not afford it, abiqua. That's called getting a read.

Do some research, don't listen to guys like Charisma who constantly lie about their connections, their script deals and their knowledge.

My understanding is that OSF is no longer part of the Weinstein Company, but is now connected to Bob Johnson of BET fame. They've got money and are definitely developing projects, as mikeb said.

Also, along with being from MI, if you look through mikeb's posting history, you'll see he's currently working in Las Vegas and was just in LA.
