I'm finished querying all the agents and managers in town and since I had no luck, I'm gonna start on the prodcos. Does anyone think that buying the HCD is worth it or more importantly the online version which has more up to date info?

Or is it wiser to just scrounge around the net and these boards looking for company contact info?

Pencey, HCD has come up as threads for some many discussions. Try checking in Books & Magazines section for further details,

Hey boiled meat boy, answer the man's question, damn it!! :D

Actually Penc, the online version is more up to date. I would go that way. The search function is helpful, and really by the time the printed one hits the shelf, it's out of date. Online costs more, but it's for the whole year.

Pencey,

I get the on line version. It's definately more up to date than the printed version and they say they update it as changes occur. (not sure how often they do this though)

Andy, it hurts when you call me boiled meat boy :(

Stop it or I will get my mummy on you.

PS: The "search" function? What is it exactly? Do you mean to tell me you can search for a company that deals in a particular genre? Cos that would be way cool.

Hey EJ, just joking ya know. Ya know?

The search is actually if you want to search for companies with emails, or only deal with writers, etc...

Not by genre that I know of, but maybe you could do that.

That would be cool.

Get the online version and start with the one week trial for $15 bucks. You might get everything you need outta them in that time frame without the need to spend more.
