Hi, I'm kind of new to sending query letters to agents.
My question is how many letters should I send, How many do you send. 15? 150? 300?

My goal is to see if my screenplay can sell, if not than I will be planning to make it myself.

And how long does it usually take for agents to respond back that they want to read your script? 2 weeks? a month?

I don't want to wait forever, maybe try this for about 3-4 months if nothing, I want to start planning preproduction right away.

Dude, screw the agents and just make the film, especially if you're looking towards writing as a stepping stone to ultimately directing features. It'd probably be the best thing to do in terms of career moves....

Hi, You know I have to send more than 400 emails and just 10 responses. I have not counted the mail I sent to the agency.
How long does it take depends on the agency you send your material to? some 2 weeks or some a few months.
What genre have you written?
Have a question to you? ok? Do you know anything about the BK Nelson, the literary agency.
Note: I have no mean to recommend them to you.
Wish your career flourish. IWMU
