Simple way to find out. Go to www.wga.org and check the list.

There's a topic in Agents & Managers about them here -> p068.ezboard.com/fdonedea...3172.topic (http://p068.ezboard.com/fdonedealagentsandmanagers.showMessage?topicID=317 2.topic)

wga.org doesn't list several agents that in fact ARE wga signatory. the list is far from all inclusive (many agents have requested they not be included on the list). but if you call wga and ask specifically they can tell you.

I sent the BK nelson agency a query by email.
Odd, they sent me a reply asking for my "postal address".

Yesterday I got a letter from them and they said they would be happy to read my work for a modest fee of $350.00.

I threw the letter in the trash.

The Dawg in his wisdom has done the right thing. NEVER pay an agent to read your work. 99% of the time they'll turn you down and pocket the dough.

The other 1% of the time, they'll accept you as a client for a modest fee of $75 per month to cover "overhead."
