Please tell me everything you know about the Bk Nelson. the literary agency in New York and its branch in Palm Springs, CA for screenwriter.

Just had a look at Nelson's website. My take is that the authors mentioned on her list are either self-help writers or ghostwriters. In addition, she seems also to be running an agency for motivational speakers. Her blurb mentions a lot of high-flying writers--ex-presidents and the like--but none appear on her client list.

My thinking is that if you're approaching her with a work of serious fiction she won't give it half the attention she'd give to the latest incarnation of Dr. Phil. If at all.

And if you're considering approaching her with a screenplay, it seems to me that this is hardly her area of specialization.

This "agency" has been commented on several times already. You'll be asked to send several hundred dollars as a reading fee. Don't waste your time or money with them. --CR
