Has anyone ever heard of a firm based in Toronto called "Cortese Entertainment"?

And if so, did you have any experiences with them... good or bad?

Heard, yes, but just a trail of clients. This is a talent and music management agency that tries to publicize and find bookings for its clients. If it's a bikini-clad photo model, rock band, or screenwriter, you'll have someone to act as your agent, issue press releases, and arrange publicity with radio and television stations. Of two testimonials by "screenwriters" at www.daniecortese.com (http://www.daniecortese.com/), I would note that one screenwriter isn't found elsewhere in my search of the Internet and that the other has had a short screenplay produced. If your band wants to get its music into television and films, or if you want to pay for "hourly consulting" for your screenplay, (and don't mind a lack of film credits), you might want to send an e-mail.

Thanks for the info. Actually a friend is seeking a Canadian based composer to score something for him relating to a project that begins principal photography in Nova Scotia about April.

I had run across this guy before but I wanted to verify he reps composers first. After looking at his site I'm sure he does.
