G'day
im a screenwriter from australia, ive been screenwriting for a long time

ive written for many tv shows over here
ive recently written and completed my first satisfied full length movie script, after being reviewd by most of my screen writing peers here, i was advised to send this script to any agents in USA, my number 1 problem is........ who do i contact? do agents even consider scripts that was written in different countries, although the story is an 'american' based story.

any help at all would be greatly appreciated

I would think that the most important thing is that the agent thinks that your story is one that sells.

Go to www.wga.org and www.scriptsales.com Call up those agents and either pitch them on the phone or send them a query letter.

We have a bunch of Australians here in the US. Scan all those you know in the tv business in Australia to see if they have Hollywood contacts. Connections can come from totally unexpected corners, and when you least expect it.
