Spoke with a producer today(they have a deal with Warner)...I called to ask if I could get their coverage of a script they read last year.
He remembered the script, said he'd send the notes and wants to see the re-write ASAP. We talked about agents, movies, writing...and at the end of the call, he again said how funny and original the concept/script was and that he'd have no problem taking it to Warner when the re-write is complete.
It's nice because I'd been dreading the re-write, but now I can hunker down with knowldege that my efforts will at least get a read.
The moral...don't send an e-mail when you have their phone number!
