For Will - email addy's on DD?

Hi Will

I noticed you gave out the email of Mad Rabbit on DD - I assume that's because it's publicly available.

What's the latest on giving out email addys on DD? As I recall giving out personal addy's of agents, producers etc was a no-no.

What about email structures of companies? You okay on those being posted on the forum?

Normally we have found it is not a good idea to give out e-mail addresses. In this case, Mad Rabbit said it would be okay for people to know since a few folks were asking. And even at that, as I noted in that thread, hopefully everybody and their mother won't write.

In most cases still, it's best not to post someone's e-mail address unless you know for a fact they are someone who is actively seeking for writers to contact them. So if the e-mail address CLEARLY falls into the public's domain much like many street addresses do, then that's generally cool -- ex. submissions@PRODCOMPANY.com.

As for email structures, I'd say use best judgment. If it's something most people know then it's probably okay. But remember if someone (or a company) gets pissed off because so many people have written them, then no one will be able to do much in the future; thus try not to burn any bridges. :D
