I think maybe the sketch contest just drowned this contest out, whenever you looked down at Writing Forum a sketch comedy thread was showing. That's the danger of running two contests at the same time. Of course, you won't make that mistake again. :D

Timing is key for contests in this forum. You were gone when we had MOTEL MACABRE last Halloween. It sounds a bit silly, but the season plays a part in it as well. The turn-out doesn't always matter(MARCH MADNESS failed to bring them out)as long as people are writing. That's the goal behind all of these contests. You're doing fine, mang.:cool:

You might not want to host one during late JULY-mid AUGUST though...that's DEVIL'S DEADLINE territory. It will also be the first leg of the 2008 DEREK AWARDS.:cool:
