View Full Version : My Christmas Movie
LIMAMA

I debated about posting this, because, after all, I am just a talentless hack with zero credibility who writes fortune cookie sayings for a living.
However, a little birdie told me late last night that my Christmas movie, THE TOWN THAT BANNED CHRISTMAS, was bought by an international distributor/production company in Cannes. It's just a signed deal memo, I guess it could still go blotto, so I won't say who it is just yet. All I'll say for now is that it's a company whose show we have discussed here at DD.
Okay, I will now go back to writing uninspiring fortunes.

I guess I'm not supposed to be responding to posts under "Announcements" but I just wanted to say congrats, LIMAMA. That's great news. Won't be long now before you'll be able to give up that day job. I'll miss your snippets of wisdom though the next time I'm getting lemon chicken.

Thanks, everyone. It's been a long slog with this one. That the producers salvaged it is nothing short of a miracle.

Everyone, thank you for your good wishes.
On first look, I don't quite see the fit with the fare this company traditionally is known for, but I was told they want to become a mini-major. I ain't complaining.
