has anyone ever tried pitching or sending their query letter to "a band apart" production? if yes, do they accept unsolicited work, or must you be appointed by an agent.

I got a read there through a prior agent... I guess I didn't "Woo" them enough as no deal was forthcoming. However the reply was timely!:smokin

I loved my experience with them:

Sent them a Tarantino / Guy Ritchie-influenced ensemble comedy, complete with non-linear timeline, flashbacks, the whole nine yards.

The reason they passed, according to the CE: the flashbacks took her out of the story. :lol
