Hi all. My screenplay made it as a finalist and Im now head to head with one final screenwriter - so I am betting for the grand prize!!!! So what will happen now? What if I dont win the grand prize - can I still be able to gain recognition for my screenplay? Disney, Fox, Dimension Films, Marvel and other major production companies are sponsering this contest... so hopefully they can pick my screenplay up even if it doesnt win. But I do wish to win the grand prize though...

If you win you'll get lots of requests to read it. I you finish second you'll still probably get lots of requests to read it. Relax...the real contest we all want to win is to sell our script. Use this as an excuse to market your success to agents, managers, and production companies (even the one's who don't sponsor this contest). You can generate your own reads simply by placing so highly (winning or not doesn't matter...it's up to you to sell it to others).

Work it, and congratulations.
