Anyone ever query them? Just recently they revamped themselves from "films" to studios....

need rep. to submit. I've queried them many times over and nothing. Had my manager send a script and it was read.

Please tell me you have a script that's perfect for Santino Marella.

Cabbage/Bono: Is/was your script more for one of the main event faces (H3, Cena, UT) or did you have something with a heel (JBL, Orton) in mind?

Please don't say you wrote something for the Great Khali.

Is this movie still a go?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0380466/

Last time I checked, almost half of the WWE roster was going to be in this movie. Now, the cast list looks like a joke.

:D

Triple H and Vince read it. The script was a horror/dark comedy with roles for a bunch of wwe talent, even vince. My take is they don't really want to venture into that genre. They want the basic cop/military rescue/shoot 'em up type of script from the info I gather. That was two years ago so things could have easily changed.

Looking at their upcoming slate, it looks like they're still wanting more the same - action.

Cabbage, when you wrote the script, did you set out and write it as a possible WWE Films script and tailor it to the stars' traits? Or did you just set out and write it as a horror/dark comedy?

Joel Simon is who you want to get your script to.

I love you guys!

The guy who wrote Halloween 4 (one of my favs) wrote the Jornada del muerto.... so i'm excited!

Yes, they used to be all action, but since they switched to "studio" I think they are open to all genres...

They have Marine 2 listed and Suckerpunch under WWE Studios.

SUCKERPUNCH - a comedy set in the world of bare-knuckle fighting.

As far as I can tell, they just want movies that they can put their stars in that will make money.

So, Bono, which superstar is your script written for?

Make it one of the Divas. Mickie James in a kick-ass action flick!

It's a comedy set in the world's strongest man contest.

So not written for one guy, but plenty of roles (including big bad guy).

Wrote big bad guy for The Rock in our head.

I'm 30 and don't follow WWE like i did when i was younger and it was the WWF, but know a lot of them from the movies I watch and just pop culture itself. Just watched a great documentary on the The Ultimate Warrior... that guy is nuts in real life too!

Cabbage, your idea rocks. I'd love to see the WWE boys bouncing off of each other in a haunted house comedy.

Same thing. They were looking for a script they could adapt into The Marine 2, so my manager gave them an action script I had just finished. The CE liked it, but it didn't make it past the next level.

Santino HAS to be in it though. :D

Santino is in! Too bad is was a pass, the script was/still is a nice fit for Stereoscopic 3-D.

I've tried to get a script into WWE films, but no dice unless you have a rep.

I did get a script to Adam "Edge" Copeland when he was shelved with the neck injury, but the producer behind the project folded.

How did you get it to him? Through WWE Films or another avenue?

I queried him directly: edge@wwe.com and he responded through a hotmail account

based on the address at the time the script was mailed to his house.

Very cool! And very cool of Adam to accept it.

I wonder if Stephanie McMahon has a similar email. stephanie@wwe.com

I have something I want to show her.

It might be that simple. I think Levesque's was something simple like HHH@wwe.com, though I thought I read somewhere it might also be the thegame@wwe.com.

I'll see what I can dig up for you.

Okay, Vining, I was just kidding.

The thing I wanted to show her would probably get me arrested. Not to mention get my ass kicked by Levesque. :D

And every now and then I'll take a swig of water, turn around and spit in his face while doing the arm movements he does. :rolling:
