Worked with them about 5 years ago when first starting out. Kept getting bills for script copies and mailing expenses. When I pressed for an answer as to where they were being submitted to, I received a photo copy production company listing from A-C. I dropped them right then. Beware!

Carole Western makes a living taking money from aspiring screenwriters who don't know any better. It happened to me several years ago. You send a query, she says she loves it, you pay money for "admin fees." This is a couple hundred bucks. Then she says she's sending your script out, but you ask to whom and it's very vague -- people like Tony Danza (please!). She also makes you pay for script printing. And if you mention that you have other projects, she'll ask to rep those ... and ask for another couple hundred bucks. Terrible. Stay far, far away.
