For those that are struggling to get Expo DVDs from CreativeScreenwring some new information for you:

Ashley no longer is with CreativeScreenwriting. Apparently the person you now have to call is Danny on 323-957-1405.

Here's hoping that something gets done.

Some history:

Ordered 50 DVD collection on January 10th 2008. September 10th 2008 and the order is still outstanding.
Ordered 12 DVD collection on 5 June 2008 (yeah yeah sucker for punishment) and not a single DVD has made it to my door.

Well I've had enough: I've registered a compaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I kept calling and calling and calling and getting the old "they had issues with their distributor" "will be sending them out with new company" etc etc... and for my inconvenience I will be sent a discount coupon...

dvds finally showed up, plain package, no note, no invoice -- no coupon

no more buy direct

I'll grab them used off eBay

Just a quick update.
After registering a complaint with the better business bureau, I got a refund of $600 from creative screenwriting and they sent out the missing dvds from the initial 50. They have also sent out the 12 other DVDs from the second order.
Needless to say I was surprised by their proposed resolution: I'd only asked for either the product or the money back---not both.
So Kudos to Bill at Creative Screenwriting - he certainly knows how to bring a smile back to a dissatisfied customer.

Ya, I got a refund for my magazine subscription, and they said they'd send my a free year's subscription as well, even though I said I only wanted a refund. It's too early to have received my mag. but I believe it will come.

If anyone is still having trouble receiving either DVDs or your subscription, please contact Elizabeth, our new customer service person, at (323) 957-1405 or customer.service@creativescreenwriting.com.

Please contact Elizabeth, not Danny.

If you give Elizabeth time to solve your problem, and it doesn't get solved, then do complain to me. Bill@creativescreenwriting.com.

We had a significant problem. I can't say we'll do a perfect job from here on, but the problem we did have has been solved with a change of personnel and some new computer systems, and we will do vastly better.

Dear BigBossman,

Not only did we solve your problem, but you got most of your DVDs free as a consideration for the headaches you went through, did you not?

Yes, Ashley is no longer with us. And that problem of "constant promises, no delivery" is now a thing of the past. If you do have a customer service issue, we jump on it. However, Danny is not the person to contact. Write or call customer service at customer.service@creativescreenwriting.com, (323) 957-1405.

I did email them with my problem:

I've only received 2 out of the 6 issues. I was promised a free sub for a year and the mags I didn't receive.

I didn't receive a reply.

bill: does anyone ever answer the phone at CS or answer emails or let customers know the status of their order, etc?

could you please look into order 17030 and let me know its whereabouts and/or status within the packing/stamping/shipping process?

thanks!
