What can anybody tell me about this agency? It's a recent merger--correct? What do they look for? Client list? How are they in working with new writers?

Thanks.

Not a recent merger. Brecher was an agent at the Rothman Agency for many years, recently promoted to partner.

They rep a lot of showrunners and executive-producer level people on shows such as CSI, Will & Grace, The 4400, Medical Mysteries, Clubhouse, Life as We Know It, and many others.

Like most of the agencies that represent TV writers, this agency is open to new writers who have terrific material, especially if they come in through a referral, or have a background of interest (playwriting, novels, features.)

Do they have a strong theatrical department?

It's a small boutique. I've heard good things. They do mostly TV, but I think they have one agent who handles features and some sort of relationship/alliance with Original Artists, which focuses more on features.
Why do you ask?

Just one of those agencies that seemed to slip by my radar. Sounds like a place I'd like to query though. Thanks for all the info.

If they are open to new writers, might you provide phone and fax numbers. Thank you.

It really is strictly a referral thing.
