Hey, guys,

Just wondering how many TV scripts you had finished before you sent stuff out to agents/prodcos/anyone interested the first time.

I'm in the process of rewriting a spec and have one tight original pilot. I'm also taking/have taken UCLA extension classes and should have another original pilot done by the end of March.

I have 2 other TV pilots that could stand rewriting, so I haven't exactly been lazy, but I feel that with my current stuff, I'm almost ready.

In the best case scenario, I don't wanna have the dumb look if someone likes my stuff and says, 'what else you got?' AND how much else do agents/managers want to see?

Suggestions?

I would say two specs, and a pilot. It wouldn't hurt to also have a feature script or stage play to show your range.

The fellowships have been known to ask for another script, on short notice, if they like the first one. I've heard of agents and managers making similar requests. The CBS fellowship specifically wants something other than a spec or pilot as a second sample.

When I finally got repped (my managers read all my material) it was five specs and two pilots. When my managers sent out my material it was one of those specs and one of the pilots.

Thanks, guys, for the prompt replies.

I've been concentrating on pilots because I've heard that's what most people are looking for now. Mostly.

*I also have 2.5 features I can rehab and try to get moving.
