View Full Version : Reading specs
Any suggestions on how one gets one's hands on newly-sold spec scripts? (was just reading the "Low Dweller" thread) Is it like manager e-mail addys? Ask the DD board?
I do read scripts, but they're usually in polished, published, post-production form. I think it'd probably be good for me to see some rawer material.
Thanks in advance for guidance!

Probably have to subscribe ($69 year) for The Insider to pass scripts on, but for the web's content alone, it's worth it.
Some of the Trackingb. posters also might have copies to share. ;)

The Insider is quite cool about passing on materials, especially something that is generating a lot of heat. On this board, the script request thread is usually quite good for some materials. And check out LIMAMA's magic script cupboard which has all kinds of interesting work in progress, produced and spec goodies.
Hey guys - thanks. I'm a subscriber to trackingb, but didn't realize that's a source of actual scripts. Good to be clued in. I'll also take a look at the other ideas you passed along.
Also, another generous DD'er just bounced me a few scripts, including the new Jonah Hill spec.
I love Done Deal. ;)
