When will the Screenwriting Expo Finalists Have Their Packets Sent Out?

supposed to be sent out in january now it's almost march and still haven't heard anything about them being sent out. Bill, if you're there, it'd be great if you could answer this. how hard is the expo really pushing its finalists? makes me think the competition fee is better spent elsewhere. :mad:

I really don't think they're going out. I could be wrong, but it seems like it has been excuse after excuse for the past three months.

I would highly advise AGAINST anyone entering this contest. Unless you care about the worthless prizes (PitchQ, Coverage, Ink., etc.) that come along with it. The benefits that you should care about (packets sent to agents/managers, recognition in the magazine) is nothing more than hot air.

I have to say I am disappointed about the packets not going out AND the fact that the Top 20 were supposed to be advertised in the magazine. I have yet to see our names there.

Pasha told me a few weeks ago that there wouldn't be any advertising in the magazine. Of course, she also said they were in the middle of sending the packets out.

I thought about emailing Pasha again, but what's the use?
