Okay so I have a deadline for my protagonist (48 Hours) in my script or something bad is going to happen. Was wondering if I need to make the sluglines read that way. Should I use Morning, Day and Night - or more of Later and things like that?

I think it depends on the set up of the story. If you hit the reader hard with the fact that your protag only has 2 days in the beginning, I think your slugs will be obvious when they are happening.

Maybe some SUPERs would work too. Not unlike 24.

You can always manipulate time - that's what is so beautiful about what we do. How many times in a mvie did a digital timer say 5...4...3... And the last two took 8?

Sorry, now I'm blabbering. Basically, I think if your story is continuous, you don't need "later"s.

Thanks
Brad

SUPER: 10 Hours Remaining

...or something like that.

Do not put the information in the slugline.

The info needs to be on screen, not in a slug.
