I need some help on Native American legends, myths?

I always enjoyed Charles Montgomery Skinner's "Myths and Legends of Our Own Land," which is available, at:

nothing special i'm lookin' for, just something that might be cool, like a indian god figure who is a hero. but a legend, will keep lookin'

I think Cambell covered a lot of American Indian myths in one of his books. I'd search the book stores for it.
