If you want common names of the 70's, do you mean people who were born in the 60's that are old enough to be characters in your screenplay/movie in the 70's?

In the late 60's and early 70's it was hip to name a kid with a a British sounding monicker like "Ian" or "Heather". The drug culture produced names like "Moonbeam".
