Lupus, an autoimmune disease

I have heard about the disease Lupus from a teacher of mine who has it. She says that if she gets overly stressed she could go into cardiac arrest. Well, I'm not too sure if she can go into cardiac arrest, or maybe it was a lie to make sure that our class stops talking and leaving our trash around. But, if anyone has any information on Lupus, it would be greatly appreciated. Most likely I'll use this information for a short. Thanx!
