Anyone point me in the direction of some good books on this subject? Specifiically I'm looking for aircraft carriers and Battleships like the Bismark.
What jobs and who did them sorta thing.
thanks in advance.

The Navy's official website has a ton of info:
www.navy.mil/ (http://www.navy.mil/)
Naval Ranks:
users.sisna.com/justinb/ranks.html (http://users.sisna.com/justinb/ranks.html)
Naval Job Classifications:
/www.doctrine.usmc.mil/mi...18068F.pdf (https://www.doctrine.usmc.mil/ministry/pdf/NAVPERS18068F.pdf)
Hope that helps...

You may want to take a look at www.militarysecret.com which is a mouthpiece for a book I wrote while serving as a Personnel Petty Officer inside the real Top Gun, Fighter Squadron One, onboard The Top Gun Of The Pacific Fleet, USS Ranger (CV-61) during the Gulf War. Let me know what you think of the video clips, okay?
