Dear screenwriters and scriptwriters,
I represent Rainbow Writing, Inc. We are looking for talented, up and coming screenplay writers for regular outgoing projects. These come in on a case-by-case basis, with the pay and time structures varying. Some will be pay-in-advance, and some will be percentage payment jobs, or a combination of the two. We will also pay you whatever fees you request, if they fit with the client’s budget structure and the situation with that particular job.
You will need to send us at karencole@rainbowriting.com (karencole@rainbowriting.com) a copy of your resume or CV and two or three screen/script writing samples. Complete scripts are fine, but you can send us a couple of representative scenes instead if you wish. Please also give us full contact info and list your specialties, website name, and any scripts you have had produced and/or that have won any awards or contests, naming these companies, awards and contests.
Finally, right now we are actively seeking someone, who is needed very soon, to produce an award-winning script based on a book which is currently under production and which will be finished sometime in early to mid-June of this year. Once we have a good script, we have a production company ready to produce the movie, but it has to be an excellent script.
So we need a writer who has had scripts produced before, and who has won some awards and/or contests. Please tell us about yourself if you are interested. The subject of the movie is a Holocaust survivor’s life story as he lived it in the camps and the ghetto. It is upbeat and contains both deep sorrow and unusual scenes of happiness and joy.
The author of the book, which is being ghost written by his son and a professional ghost writer, was interviewed by Steven Spielberg for “Schindler’s List,” and this movie is pretty much set to be made, but as I said, we need an excellent, award-winning type script for it.
