Does anyone know where I can get this information?
I'm writing a script set in the US in the late 1950s and I need to know the standard size and weight of gold bars at that time (if there was a standard).

The standard weight would be 400 troy ounces, and their size would be 7 inches by 3.625 inches by 1.75 inches, (a little smaller than a brick). Remember that gold was not traded as freely in the 1950s as it is today.
