OFFICIAL REGISTRATION OF "TITLE"

I would like some information on official registration of a screenplay "TITLE". The manuscript is registered with WGA etc but I need to register my "TITLE".

Could anyone please assist me with this?

Sorry but you can't protect a title - anyone else can come up with and use the same title.

Titles or names cannot be copyrighted or registered as far as I understand.

Your best hope is to sell the script, thereby rendering other thngs with the same title moot.


I should know- I had a spec script called Six Feet Under.
