Cancer at 62.

An icon, My collection of short films: SHORTS OF BILL MARTELL featured her on my shorts - her pin up picture was available as an iron on T shirt picture, I put it on a pair of boxers as a gag for the titles.

Check out THE BURNING BED. She could act.

I had the poster-- & I'm a girl. There was just something about it. Must have been the smile.

Condolences to her family.

Growing up in the 1970s one couldn't miss Charlie's Angels along with Kung Fu and The Six Million Dollar Man - part of everybody's TV diet back then.

And out of all the Charlie's Angels she was the most stunning and beautiful. The photograph of Farrah Fawcett with her long locks of hair in that red swim suit sum it all up for me, an American icon, a one and only original..

I remember the Extremities 1986 film starring Farrah Fawcett, Alfre Woodard, Diana Scarwid and James Russo. It was adapted from the successful, yet controversial, 1982 off-Broadway play by William Mastrosimone. Farrah Fawcett had also appeared in the play to great critical acclaim, taking over a role originated by Susan Sarandon. James Russo also appeared in the play as the attacker.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance..

She will be sadly missed.. RIP, Farrah...

The Burning Bed was a major victory for her and surprised critics all over the world. Still one of the best made for TV movies of all time.

RIP Farrah

A very long toime ago I met her once at a corporate meet/greet in NY at a store chain's headquarters that she was pushing some product that her name was on or was just promoting, and she was incredibly gracious. She treated secretaries like they were as important as anyone she was seeing that day and flirted with a Puerto Rican Telephone Repairman I knew who crashed the greeting line, and was nicer to him then then the officers of the company she was there to see. The guy did not exactly look like he he should have been there in the first place, he was a NAM veteran who had a couple of nasty scars from bullets passing through his forearm and his clothing wasn't exactly Brooks Brothers, yet she acted genuinely interested in his story when she met him.
Classy lady, she will be missed !!!

Just this past Sunday my friends were raving about her documentary, 'Farrah's Story'.

They said it was amazing.
