Writing Sample?

If an agent wants you to send a writing sample, what would you send? A synopsis, a treatment, an outline or a partial script?

Received a queried post-card back yesterday, and they want me to send a writing sample.

Script only!

Nothing else matters unless you have the reputation to pitch ideas, and to get a rep you need a completed script that will impress people into meeting with you, or buying your script.
